The Synaxarium

The Ethiopian Synaxarium, otherwise known as the book of Saints, is a text of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church that contains the lives and commemorations of hundreds of saints.

Although the exact number of recognized saints isn't commonly stated, the Synaxarium typically covers well over 700 to 800 saints, including biblical figures, early Christian martyrs, church fathers, and many local Ethiopian saints.
